On October 29, 2025, the Thomas More Institute hosted Medieval and Renaissance Art: Treasures Big and Small – The Thomas More Institute Visits the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. Art historian Anita Grants regaled participants with an engaging lecture, then guided everyone to the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts to view examples of art pieces in person. On November 8, 2025, the Thomas More Institute hosted An Intergenerational Art Morning for a day of family art-making. In this workshop, we invited children and their guardians to create collaborative pieces on themes of memory, time, and intergenerational connection. Using techniques such as collage and tracing, workshop leader Song guided participants in this exploration of art-making as a means of sharing and preserving memories with your loved ones. On November 12, 2025, the Thomas More Institute hosted a Film Screening of the film Ageless, in collaboration with the Cummings Centre. This film addresses the topic of ageism, an issue that individuals may experience in every stage of life. A discussion followed the viewing. Admission was free.
