The Institute needs your helping hand to support committees and staff, inevitably at busy times when classes fill up in the Fall, Winter and Spring terms, and when book launches, lecturers, social and other gatherings occur throughout the year. You may have skills that we at the Institute needs to keep the things going in an effective and stimulating year-round schedule. Ask yourself what you could contribute in time and effort. Would you be prepared to work as a part-time assistant to staff members? Keep the minutes at Board and committee meetings? Write stories for the More News? Design course posters? Or take photos at various events? Help organize the TMI archives? Fix the plumbing and the electrics should the need arise. The choices are almost limitless – there’s always something you can do at the Institute. And we’re prepared to fit out needs to your skills. Just let us know what the skills are. Please contact Bridget Anthony at TMI reception and let her know that you’re prepared to sign on as a volunteer at the Institute!
